Secret Life of a Sorority Girl      (movie)       (8 pm, Lifetime Channel)
When single mother Cheryl finds out her daughter Ashley is dancing as a pole dancer at a night club to pay her way through college, she is furious and threatens to disown her. She regrets their fight when Ashley goes missing and police provide no help finding her. Cheryl is certain the key to finding her daughter lies in the club she worked at. To gain the trust of the dancers and patrons, Cheryl gets a job as a dancer at the club. Cheryl doesn’t tell anyone who she is until she gains the trust of bartender Jake, who agrees to help find Ashley. But every lead they follow ends nowhere. Cheryl finds herself falling in love with Jake–only to discover that his brother Rick is the one who kidnapped Ashley and is holding her prisoner. Rick is in love with Ashley and envisioned having a life with her. But Jake refuses to turn in Rick and traps Cheryl in the basement with Ashley. Stars Jessica Morris (who has an amazing 12 titles listed as forthcoming on IMDb, but this is not one of them), Philip Boyd, and Jessica Lynn Wallace. Not on IMDb.

I'm *amazed* that it's taken Jessica Morris this long to play a stripper!!  ;p
Anyway, am planning to watch this!

Blind Date Book Club       (movie)         (8 pm, Hallmark Channel)
A bookstore owner finds love and direction in life after agreeing to review a famous author’s new novel in her blind-date-with-a-book club. Stars Erin Krakow and Robert Buckley.

Zzzzzz....

Note: Tubi's press release for April lists a movie called "Snatched" for tonight, but it's not yet available and appears to have been postponed until next Saturday.
Confirmed - I find no Tubi original named "Snatched" on Tubi right now.
(However, 1973's "Invasion of the Girl Snatchers" sounds like a movie that's right up Amin's alley!!)

A Model Murder     (movie)       (8 pm, Lifetime Channel)
Web model Kara Woods begins to get disturbing messages from one of her fans, causing her to seek help from a security influencer, Cody Valentine. Things are fine until the messages begin spilling over into “IRL” when Kara’s stalker begins to show up in person. Stars Sara Ball, Austin Valli, Molly Gibson, Ben VanderMey and Jean Charles.

Sara Ball has kind of come out of nowhere. A year and a half back, she did an X-Mas movie for Hybrid Films (with Vivica!!), that turned up on either Ion or UPtv (I think). But she had very few credits before that. So this is her second TV movie as the lead, after coming out of pretty much nowhere! I'm not even sure if she's American or Canadian.
Anyway, may have to record this for later viewing...

When Calls the Heart        (season 11 premiere)        (9 pm, Hallmark Channel)
 12 episodes.
Wow - season 11, and no sign of wrapping this up.
(Anyone know what year they're up to by now?! I think they started circa... 1905, maybe? So, by now they must be up to about 1915!!)

Beacon 23        (season 2 premiere)          (9 pm, MGM+)
Aster Calyx (Lena Headey) and Halan Kai Nelson (Stephan James) are inextricably drawn to Beacon 23. Navigating one threat after another, they unravel the beacon’s mysteries, just in time to face their most powerful enemy. 8 episodes.

Wow! They turned around and got season #2 out *fast*!!

Parish      (time slot premiere)        (9 pm, AMC)
Really wish this had been a movie...

Mr Bates vs The Post Office      [new to US]    (9 pm, PBS)
Alan Bates (Toby Jones) was one of the 700+ sub-postmasters who were accused of stealing money from the British Post Office. In a 20-years long fight, he and his allies seek to prove faulty software was the real cause in this four-part miniseries from ITV.

This was a surprise hit in the UK. I have no idea why...

Is this another coverup/whitewash, or are they finally going to publicize that NASA knew they were going to die, and purposely did nothing, and just didn't talk about what they knew?!...

Curb Your Enthusiasm       (season 12 and series finale)        (10 pm, HBO)
Someone tell us how this ends!!

         Monday, April 8
