mark the old license Invalid, and let you keep it as backup ID. You're
justnot legal to drive with it.
I would never do that. I'd go through the process of obtaining a license
as a new driver, which means taking the driving and written tests. I
don't need one state to do me the "favor" of informing another state
that I moved.
