The Scripps stations involved are in Detroit, Miami, Tucson, Norfolk,
Corpus Christi, Santa Barbara(!), and Lafayette LA.
Nex[s]tar stations will assume The C-Wub affiliations in Norfolk and Lafayette.
It sounds to me like Detroit will be completely without CW now! Ha ha ha
ha!!

without CW affiliates. wow
I'm surprised that Nexstar doesn't have affiliates in Detroit, Miami and Tucson, at least. Perhaps they do, but they are currently under contract to others. They may not in Detroit though - the article made it sound like Detroit only has two independent stations, and they've both gone through CW affiliations and dropped them!
