 Agreed on both counts.
 I feel bad for Lizzy Caplan - she tried her best, and indeed may have been the best thing about the sequel - but she already had, like, 7 strikes against her. Including the fact that the second one, esp. the denouement, was asinine.
 That said, I would be up for a third film (esp. if they brought back Isla Fisher), and am surprised they never tried to do one. (AFAICT, there's been no talk of another sequel at all lately...)
