 This union official-- Victoria Wojciechowska-- isn't even a
Canadidian citizen. She's a Polish national.
  

How did you determine that? That isn't in the article. While the
name is almost certainly Polish she could be third or fourth
generation Canadian for all I know. 

 
I looked her up. Her Facebook says she's Polish and lives in Warsaw a
lot of the time.
 

Or at least someone with the same name does....
 
Any time I look someone up online, even someone with a very unique
-seeming name, I find several exact duplicates.
