This union official-- Victoria Wojciechowska-- isn't even a
Canadidian citizen. She's a Polish national.
name is almost certainly Polish she could be third or fourth
generation Canadian for all I know.
I looked her up. Her Facebook says she's Polish and lives in
Warsaw a lot of the time.
Any time I look someone up online, even someone with a very unique
-seeming name, I find several exact duplicates.
Her picture looked the same as the pictures of her in articles
dealing with the union stuff.
That's certainly more compelling than having the same name. They say
everyone has a double/doppelganger - I've actually seen mine a
couple of times - but the odds of the two having the same name are
astronomical.
Here's hoping someone arrests this rabble rouser for threatening the
professor. I don't expect our soft-on-crime judiciary would actually
deport her but there's always a chance, I suppose. (There was a case
about 30 years ago where a foreigner had been convicted of attempted
murder and was sentenced to be deported. In order to complete the
deportation, his home country needed to issue him a passport which
required a photo. The convicted criminal refused to pose for the
picture - repeatedly - so the courts decided to simply let him go right
back to his life here in Canada!!
I have no idea what theory of jurisprudence they utilized to come to
that decision but I still remember it for its mind-boggling stupidity.)
