I can remember when this pronoun discussion first started up many
years ago. People deriding it often said they should be referred to as
attack helicopters henceforth instead of he or she.

  But “attack helicopter” isn’t pronouns
Neither is a unicorn or a fairy but the 'progressive' gender lunatics
are full of weirdos trying to claim they're 'neo-pronouns'. Hell some of
them are even trying to use verbs as pronouns (and expecting you and me
to go along with it because they say so).

Anything that moves society forward is progressive. Anything that
doesn't is regressive.
Exactly, Hutt. This is first time in recent memory that you've managed to say
something truthful and accurate. All this gender bullshit and people using
"fairyself" pronouns doesn't move society forward in any way, shape, or form.
All it does is cater to mental illness and cause problems for the normal
people. It's objectively regressive, which is why I refer to the people who
advocate for it as 'progressives' in sarcastic quotes because nine times out
of ten, if a 'progressive' is advocating for a thing, that thing is some
fucked up nonsense that's only designed to ruin some part of the societal
cohesion we've built up over centuries.
Iirc, you support, e.g., the relatively recent demise of the masculine as the neuter personal pronoun (replaced by"s/he", "his or her", etc.). At one time, that too was "progressive" doctrine.
