A few bits of trivia:
Besides the MASH spinoff of "AfterMASH' there was "W*A*L*T*E*R" in which
(Radar) Gary Burghoff stars as rookie cop Walter O'Reilly. The show only
aired once as it was cancelled immediately.
I vaguely remember watching it. It was a lot like Enos, if memory serves.
Then there was "Trapper John M.D." that show however was quite successful
running for seven seasons.
Was that a spinoff? I do not remember them ever referencing M*A*S*H,
which I found quite strange!
It's a sort of spin off of the books, not the TV show or the movie. It's
the continuing adventures of a character from both.
Books?
There are more than a dozen novels, a couple that inspired the movie, and
the rest that are sequels to the TV show
