I don't see how that's enough time to site and build a new plant, so my
guess is they're going to the vacant printing plant in Milwaukee which

Bally's was supposed to build and equip a replacement printing plant but
they made a cash settlement instead.

 

The newspaper was stripped of all its land and other assets years ago.

The final editions have been printed at Freedom Center as of Sunday, May
19, 2024. These were Sunday editions of Trib itself, Chicago Sun-Times,
and the midwest edition of the New York Times.

Several years ago, the L.A. Times sold off its historic downtown
building and moved out to El Segundo into a small office block. (Looks a
lot like the Alaska strip mall Hilary Swank worked in on ALASKA DAILY.)

The people who can't stand the relentless firehose of 'progressive'
propaganda that's currently the Times' brand disdainfully refer to them
now as the El Segundo Times, implying that they're no different than any
of the other beach city coupon circulars.
