But for some reason when Newsom signs laws, according to Effa the
Hutt, he only has the power to affect California, despite the fact
that in many cases, he actually does affect the whole country with
his bullshit. Like when he banned all gas-powered vehicles by 2035.
That affects the whole country because California is such a large
percentage of the car market, vehicle manufacturers conform their
products to California standards regardless of where they'll
eventually be sold.

Yeah, he's destroying it so bad that people are moving there in record
numbers. And California is losing so many people, it cost them a seat in
the House.

Let's see
Texas - Make sure you buy a whole home generator or solar panel system
as the power system seems to fail at the worst times in Texas and they
don't seem to want to spend the money to fix it.

Won't be any different than the rolling blackouts we experience here in
California every summer since Governor HairGel started shutting down all
our reliable sources of power-- coal, natural gas, nuclear-- and started
trying to run the whole state on windmills and solar panels.

But hey, he's got presidential aspirations and he wants to build his
resume with the enviro-kooks, so we all just have to take one for the
team. His political career is what's most important after all.

Florida - set aside much more money than you expect to insure your
home. At this point I'm not sure it matters where you live in Florida
but especially if you want to live near the ocean/Gulf as many
insurance companies have stopped offering home insurance in Florida.

They've stopped offering it in California, too. Mostly because the state
won't let them raise premiums to cover people in wildfire-prone areas.
Every time some vagrant lights half the county on fire the insurance
companies take a billion-dollar hit and the state insurance commission
won't let them raise premiums to cover it for everyone who rebuilds in
the middle of a forest that's filled with dry deadwood that's been
building up for decades because the enviro-kooks demand that we not
touch it and "let nature deal with it". Well, nature deals with it by
burning it up, so...

Nevada - Last I heard the housing market was down in Las Vegas so home
prices were dropping. Water can be an issue if you live in a smaller
community but otherwise I'm not aware of any serious issues with
living in the state.

The only serious issue is that there's only one significant population
center in the entire state and the unions are taking it over and
electing Democrats en masse so Nevada is starting to enact a lot of the
same crazy laws as in California. So far there's still no state income
tax in Nevada but as Democrats become more entrenched there and start to
gain super-majorities in the legislature, you can expect that to change
quickly.
