IS "SHRIEK OF THE MUTILATED" A CULT CLASSIC?:
On this episode of Weird Movies With Mark, I talk about Shriek of the
Mutilated (1974)

Another IMDb entry where pretty much no one in the cast listing has a portrait pic on IMDb.

What did you watch?
Another day of just soaps and "Shogun":
soaps: DOOL - Ava is a complete wuss, and let's Harris talk her out of eliminating Clyde (boo!!). But then Chad shows up, and I'm hoping he will actually finish the job!! Unfortunately, before Chad mans up, Clyde blurts out that Abby is still alive (I am really not looking forward to AnnaLynne McCord taking over this role!  :/  ). We don't even get to see cute but EVOL!!1! Goldman in this ep, as she had already been taken away by the cops (off-camera)... Meanwhile, Melinda seems to shut down/strike a deal with EJ. I think Eric is suspicious of EJ's role in all of this... Rafe tells Stefan that he thinks Clyde can clear (Nu)Gabi.
GH - Pretty much a "throwaway" episode. Most of it was taken up with Gregory's memorial service, and most of the rest was NuKristina getting into it with NuNuNuMolly a bit. Then there was nonsense with Blaze and Booby Vista that I literally fast-forwarded through!
 Shogun (Disney+ (by Hulu)) - Episodes #1.5-1.7.
These ep's were pretty good. Lady Ochiba (the late Taikō's consort, and the only one to bear him a son; played by Fumi Nikaido) arrives in Osaka, and immediately takes over (I find this part to be a little unbelievable)
This is apparently the real person she is based on:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yodo-dono
directing the regents to take her revenge! REVENGE!! on
Toranaga, and pushing them to speed up plans.
Blackthorne continues to get stonewalled, by Toranaga, and then by Mariko, when Mariko's presumed-dead husband (whom, for the record, she despises!) turns up alive. The husband, of course, wants the "barbarian" dead! He also makes Mariko reveal her "shameful" family history to Blackthorne.
An earthquake hits, and seems to knock much of Toranaga's army out.
This forces Toranaga to try to forge an alliance with his estranged half-brother. Of course, the half-brother is a scuzzy, treacherous bastard who has already sold Toranaga out to Osaka. In the end, Toranaga's idiot son tries to take revenge! on the half-brother (his uncle), but only manages to get himself clumsily killed!!
Don't remind me!

P.S. I'm still trying to figure out - if the novel "Shogun" was based on true historical events, why did James Clavell fictionalize names, etc.?!
  What did you watch?

I watched:
Mayor of Kingstown - "Soldier's Heart" - Season 3, episode 1.  Picking up where season 2 ended and I don't remember where season 2 ended. There are new characters and I don't know who they are or why they are doing what they are doing.  Otherwise I guess it was an OK premier.
Dark Matter (AppleTV+) - "Worldless" and "Superposition" - Episodes 5 and 6.  Jason and Amanda continue their journey through the multiverse of madness.  Meanwhile evil Jason twirls his evil goatee while Daniela (Jennifer Connelly) is starting to notice her husband is now evil.
All-Star Superman (4K disc) - Time seriously flies.  If my records are right, it's been exactly a year since I resumed watching these movies. And I can't even pick up where I left off because this movie comes before the tomorrowverse movies, but I'm watching them in release order.   Anyway this 2011 animated movie has Superman doing various fantastic deeds before he dies.  Overall, pretty good.
Batman: Year One (4K disc) 2011 DC animated pre-tomorrowverse movie which shows Batman's first year as Batman and Jim Gordon's rise up the ranks of the police force.  This was pretty good too.  And the last of the pre-tomorrowverse 4K upgrades so I can now pick up where I left off with the tomorrowverse movies as I work my way up to the Crisis trilogy.
