Wrong. It's not the Star Wars universe that people will have no
affection for but Leslye Headland's version. I didn't need to watch
this to know how bad it was going to be. When you have things like
Headland saying she went out of her way to hire people who knew
nothing about Star Wars so she could jettison everything about Lucas's
version of Star Wars.

Don't forget the lead actress telling Trevor Noah that one of the main
points of the show is to "make white people cry". After that, you just
knew this was gonna be a winner.

And when this crashes and burns, when no one watches it, they'll all
start blaming the fans for being "-phobes" and "-ists". Its failure
won't be because they made a garbage show. It'll be because they made a
piece of transcendental art and the fans are just too stupid and bigoted
to appreciate it.
