The rest of the speech was serious and powerful. I was impressed.

He is one of the most impressive public figures out there right now. He
gets it - where "it" is pretty much every major publlic issue
confronting our civilization. I read one of his books, The War on the
West, and really liked it. I want to read the others as well.
