Ran more errands Friday morning. But then took it easy the rest of the day. So I watched:
Sidenote: I noticed a 2009 movie called "The Casino Job" on Tubi. The reason I bring this up is, based on the promo Tubi shows, it looks like the movie was shot *on video tape* in *standard def*! What movies were still being shot on *on video tape* in *standard def* in 2009?!!
soaps: DOOL - Clyde gave Chad some supposed "proof" that Abby is still alive; Chad and Julie pledge to investigate the next morning. Claiming she already has the job lined up, Kristen announces to Stefan that she will no longer help him re: Gabi - Stefan pledges to go back to breaking Gabi out of prison. Chanel tells Paulina that she and Johnny are leaving town for his new job. Gabe tries to get EJ to drop the recall against Paulina but fails to stop EJ.
GH - Mostly stale ep. Lizzie once again tries to talk sense into Finn and fails. NuKristina goes to Alexis about the possibility of Molly and TJ breaking up, and Alexis tries to stay out of it. Then Chase comes to Alexis to vent/update her about Finn's drinking. Gio gets a gig working for Ava, and then gets Josslyn and Trina a room to rent from the Quatermaines. More Drew/Nina drama.
Station Eleven (Max) - Ep's #7 & #8.
Ep. #7 was better again, as at least it flashes back to show us what happened with Kirsten, Jeevan and Frank in the first 100 days (though, once again, was unnecessarily told in non-linear fashion...).
Ep. #8 was back in 2040, and was partly decent, and partly a mess, as Kirsten (and the Prophet dude) come face to face with Clark.
    Last two ep's to go.
Death Down the Aisle (recorded off LMN the night before) - This ended up being OK. At first, they throw plenty of suspects at you for the murder of the groom just before the wedding ceremony.
And, this time, the "red herring" character was so good that I was fooled into thinking that she was indeed the killer. (I was really, really hoping that it was would turn out that the heroine's mom, played by Jayne Heitmeyer, was the killer!) But I would say that, after starting with an abundance of suspects, too many fell away as plausible in the flick's second half - if they had kept the uncertainty going longer, it would have helped.
