Nobody gets MGM+! Not even Adam!!  :p

I subscribe. I'm just not going to watch this. I didn't watch the Forest
Whitaker series either on a similar theme.

My Life Is Murder        (season 4 premiere)         (9 and 10 pm, two
episodes, BBC America)

Lucy Lawless stars in this contemporary Australian detective drama as
retired cop Alexa Crowe. With her old boss (Bernard Curry, Once Upon a
Time) regularly asking for her insight on cold cases and a young police
data-analyst (Ebony Vagulans) eager to be mentored--whether Alexa wants
to or not--Alexa can't seem to stop solving crime. The fourth season of
the Acorn TV original crime drama (co-produced by TVNZ and Australia's
Network 10) will also air on cable's BBC America. Eight episodes; two
air/stream today and on July 22, while single episodes air at 9 pm on
the four intervening Mondays. This is the first season to be shown on
BBC America (or any cable channel).

Forgot this show existed...

Ah, well being an "Acorn Original" will do that!!...

They're lying. It was produced for broadcast tv in Australia and New
Zealand, so they just bought foreign distribution rights. Looking it up,
it was produced in Australia for season 1, then production shifted to
New Zealand for season 2. The setting was changed to Auckland.
