Three things struck me about Trump's McDonald's visit:
1. He was absolutely courteous with his trainer who showed him how to
work the fryer and pack the fries. He didn't act as if he knew it all
already and made sure he was doing the job correctly, although he may
have been a touch over-generous with the salt.
2. The customers who he served at the drive-thru window were ecstatic to
see him and chat with him. That didn't seem faked to me in the
slightest. They were pleased as punch to be meeting him.
That isn't a surprise as they were all hand picked Trump fans. They
each had to practice going through the line multiple times before
Trump arrived. So the Trump people knew these 'customers' were going
to be happy to see Trump. A normal mix of customers would have given
a more varied set of reactions to having Trump hand out food.
You know that for a fact they were screened to ensure their enthusiasm
for Trump? Or is that just speculation?
It's been widely reported by people that were there.
Of course they were. All political events like this are stage-managed. I can't
believe you're just now cottoning to this.
