I plan on it. It's just hard to both find the time to watch them and
be in the right mood for them. A couple of hours for a typical movie
isn't that much of a requirement but a four hour section of time is
much harder. On a number of movies I'm okay with taking a break to go
eat or do some house work, but on a movie like the LOTR I would like
to watch it at one sitting.

 Oh I would never try that. I know some theaters did that showing all
three movies back to back for those willing to try to watch the entire
thing. I was just talking about watching even one of the extended
versions can be hard to find the time.

Not to mention which (and no snarky controversy intended) there's some argument that they're in order of decreasing quality.
