Yesterday, I shifted gears and watched neither soaps nor a movie. In the evening, I made a "census" of many of the recent streaming TV shows I should add to "my list", and also some movies on the various streamers I may want to watch.

Basically, that led me to the decision to start watching a streaming TV series now, but one that I could watch "semi-casually" (IOW, not feel the need to necessarily watch it *every* consecutive day until I finished).
I generally only watch them about twice a week or at most, every other day.
In general, I "binge" most streaming TV series. There are definitely some (e.g. The Agency, and maybe Cross) that I am willing to watch more "weekly". But if I'm at all serious about a streaming series, I will want to binge it, sometimes as quickly as over two days.
That's generally why I don't watch streaming TV shows while I'm in the middle of a semester teaching gig, and will wait for either Winter or Summer Break to watch streaming shows.
