What Did You Watch? 2024-11-23 (Saturday)

I didn't do much of anything yesterday, except take it easy. Just did a chore or two.
I watched:
soaps: DOOL - Fri's ep. Sarah can walk again. (yay...) Kristen pitches a fit when Brady doesn't fall all over himself professing his "love" for her, and once again threatens to keep daughter Rachel away from Brady. (It's long since past time for Brady to sue for custody again...) I really hope they don't put Stephanie with NuPhilip (I don't like John-Paul Lavoisier's take on the character). Joy has a fit of stupidity and tells Alex about the one night stand with Johnny; then Chanel comes over and surprises them.
    Y&R - Thur's ep. Lucy is back from being exiled to Danny's tour; later Filis[sic!] wakes up. Summer is furious with Chance, for f**king up the Heather murder case (true!), and wants to take a "break". Billy comes to Jack to get his old job back at Jabot, but Jack has to turn him down without telling Billy why. Later Billy runs into Sally, and they're so going to "do it"!
Lioness (Pee+) - Ep's #1.3 & 1.4. Still keeping my interest.
    Joe's idiocy with Cruz in ep. #1.2 is still causing complications with the op against the terrorist financier's daughter, as it definitely looks like Cruz was beaten. Cruz is exposed to the daughter's shady and worthless friends, including one who's a rapist. Later, at a party, Cruz f*cks up (so does Joe, but at least she had justifiable distractions) and is roofied, and the team has to save her from another rapist.
    Meanwhile, Thad Luckinbill shows up as another spook who wants to borrow Joe's team for an op to spring a C.I. who has been arrested in Texas. This whole sequence is incredibly unbelievable, as 1) spooks and special ops are not supposed to operate on U.S. soil like this, and 2) they get multiple (cops? border patrol?) people wasted on the op, and there's no way that wouldn't get them all liquidated in the real world.
    Meanwhile-meanwhile, the worthless out-of-control teen daughter and her worthless teen friends gets maimed and killed in a reckless driving incident (did they say the daughter was *14*?! if so, how were she and her friends driving?!), and on top of that the little bitch is pregnant! (They so should just dump her into foster care!!)
Christmas in the Spotlight (Lifetime) - This really was 100% just straight up lifted from Taylor Swift's and Travis Kelce's romance.
    This was OK, I guess.
    Jessica Lord is somehow unrecognizable from her "The Next Step" days - I think it's the combination of weary (too much!!) makeup her, and her hair.
    Laith Wallschleger seems to less be playing Travis Kelce here, and more playing Gronk. But, whatever.
    Also, have quarterback and wide receiver brothers ever played on the same NFL team in the history of the NFL?! I can't recall an example of this...
    Anyway, this was OK - "Taylor Swift" meets-cute "Gronk" at her concert, through "Gronk's" niece, and they start up a romance. But of course "Taylor" wants to keep it "casual" and secret. There are obstacles along the way. Yeah, yeah, yeah...
