It wasn't a very narrow pardon either: it was a blanket pardon for
anything Hunter Biden did over a 10 year period.
He waited until late Sunday evening to announce the pardon, no doubt
hoping that no one would notice. I wonder how the media will react? I
wonder how Trump will react?
We know Trump's going to blow a gasket. But, if his name was other than
Biden he wouldn't have been sentenced with as strongly as he was.
And if his name was anything other than Trump, he never would have been
charged with the misdemeanor paperwork crime (that no one in NY history had
ever been charged with before), let alone had the prosecutor bootstrap in some
federal crime (over which he didn't even have jurisdiction) to evade the
statute of limitations and make it a felony, then overcharge it 34 times.
No one whose name wasn't Trump would have ever had that happen to them.
But I guess using the justice system for political persecution is in the eye
of the beholder, isn't it, suzee?
Others with the same convictions have received much lighter sentences if they
were even prosecuted at all.
At least there *were* others with the same convictions in Hunter's case. There
were no others with the same convictions as Trump in New York because
literally no one in history had ever been charged with such a bullshit made-up
crime.
