Did I forget to do one of these yesterday for Saturday?! It's quite possible, as my brother came over early...
 Anyway:
 SATURDAY:
I believe I watched nothing but college football on Sat:
Saw Michigan beat #2 ranked Ohio State, and then saw the appalling fracas between both teams after the game was over (had something dumb to do with "flag-planting") - I can't believe no one was suspended for this: they ALL should have been suspended for this!
Then saw Oregon beat up Washington pretty good. Not sure anyone is beating #1 Oregon this year, though I guess if anyone can it's probably Penn State.
I then went home from family gathering a little earlier Sat night - I ended up coming home and going to bed early.
 SUNDAY:
Yesterday, my brother came over and hung out until his afternoon flight. We ended up going for a walk/hike locally, and then stopped by Home Depot to pick up a new screen door 'cos he had rented a truck and I needed something big to transport the screen door home!
Also mostly watched (NFL) football on Sunday:
In the morning game, the Chargers did end up beating the Altanta Falcons, but it took them way too long to do it, and you have to wonder if they would have won if Kirk Cousins hadn't thrown 4 interceptions for Atlanta along the way! At least the Chargers are now 0.667, and are cruising towards a Wild Card playoff berth.  :)
The afternoon game was the Eagles mostly manhandling while beating up the poor Ravens.  :(
In the evening game, the 49ers were murdered by both the Buffalo Bills and by the lake-effect snow. And McCaffrey was (re-)injured to boot! Suffice it to say, I don't see the 49ers making the playoffs this year, even if they win the remaining 5 games in a row.  :(
At night, I put Hybrid Film's "Make or Bake Christmas" on Lifetime on in the background while I did grading. It was some malarkey in which EVOL!! TV cooking host(?) Vivica sends her cute but naive assistant (the cute Jasmine Aivaliotis) to steal some (baking?) recipes from the owner (it's Jackée!!) and her son (Landon Moss). Will Jasmine succeed in doing the wrong thing?! - Is this a smarmy Christmas TV movie from Lifetime or Hallmark?! What do you think!?!
Like every other Hybrid film directed by David DeCoteau, this had all the usual hallmarks(heh!) of other awkwardly direct Hybrid flicks!  :/
This also had pretty much every supporting Hybrid Films actor in a secondary role, including stalwarts Meredith Thomas and Jon Briddell.
What did you watch this holiday weekend?!

I thought you did do one for Saturday, but I guess you're right.  I was at a convention this weekend, so I didn't watch much of anything anyway.
Saturday:
I think the only thing I made it through was "The Voice."
Sunday:
Dune: Prophecy - "Sisterhood Above All" - Maybe I was just tired after a long day, but I really didn't follow or care for this episode.  I think this episode kept jumping around in time and it wasn't always obvious to me who the characters were or what time period they were in.  I was more or less following the plot where a young Harkonnen woman was getting revenge against an Atreides.  But even though I know the Harkonnen woman is a main character, I couldn't tell you who she is in relation to the overall show.  And it didn't help matters that Travis Fimmel was nowhere to be seen in this episode.  But there was a huge jaw dropping revelation at the end of the episode.  Gur Orar Trffrevg fvfgreubbq unir n guvaxvat znpuvar.
Brief convention report:
For anyone interested in such things, I attended a convention in San Francisco over the weekend.  Not much to report back, but a few minor highlights (these are all actors I got to meet for the first time):
Danny Trejo was there.  He seemed like a nice guy.  Told a funny story about how he was in prison and when he got out he was asked if he could be an extra on a movie set if he could "act" like a prisoner.  And the rest is history.
Eli Roth was there.  Not exactly a coincidence I recently watched a bunch of movie either with Danny Trejo, or directed by Eli Roth.  He talked about low budget movie making and his Hollywood experiences.
Charlie Cox (Daredevil) and Wilson Bethel (Bullseye) were there to promote the upcoming season of Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+. They really couldn't say much about the upcoming season.  But Bethel said he auditioned for Captain America and there are pictures of him in full costume.  He thought he got the part until he heard Chris Evans was cast instead.  He kept joking he's not bitter he didn't get to be rich and famous.  Also, and in the back of my mind, I *must* have already known this (I did just watch Stardust), but when Charlie Cox started speaking with a British accent, I was surprised.
Giancarlo Esposito was there.  I know I've seen him at other conventions, but I *think* this might have been the first time I attended one of his panels.  He has been in *everything* and was asked about what hasn't he done that he would like to do.  I think the question was maybe tied specifically to the DC universe.  He mentioned he got the part in the upcoming Captain America movie after fans were trying to get him cast as Professor X, which lead to this role.  And if he had a say, he wouldn't mind playing Mr. Freeze in the DC universe.
Bruce Campbell was there.  If you've ever seen Shatner at a convention, at this point, he's not too far off from the SNL parody of himself that's just fed up with fans asking the same stupid questions.  Campbell was very much like that!  He was practically an insult comic roasting the audience.  Throughout the convention at all the panels I attended, the moderator would also say to the people in line to state your name and ask your question.  Campbell was the first any only speaker I saw who did not have a moderator.  And as people would do as they had been trained to do, and state their name, Campbell would complain no one cares what your name, just ask your question.  Then constantly interrupt so they couldn't get the question out.  People are *already* nervous and this just made it worse!  When the question did finally get asked, his answers came off a bit more like rants, but *funny* rants.
And if this wasn't a bit, it should have been.  There were a couple of times where Campbell trying to be funny would go into his pocket and hand someone a $5 bill.  When he got fed up with the questions being asked from the people standing in line to ask a question he decided to call on someone sitting in the audience.  And the guy he called on said, "Can I have $5."  Campbell says OK, but you have to come up on stage to get the money.  And clearly Campbell is about to make an example of this guy.  The guy gets on stage, Campbell tells him to sit down like he's about to be interviewed.  And he asks the guy which is his favorite movie.  And the guy says, I've never seen any of your movies before. And whatever roasting Campbell was planning to do went out the window. But that just made it worse.  Because now Campbell was really laying into him, with why are you even here then, etc.  Overall the audience was very entertained by Campbell's panel.  But the people who asked a question, they may have to seek therapy.
