crimes he may have committed in the past and into the future, and he
would have done so regardless of Hunter benefitting from his father's

 But now he has cover for doing it. He can point to Biden's self-serving pardon
and say, sauce for the goose.

Not quite. Like Biden now, Trump's already pardoned family ...but, as of yet, no President has pardoned himself. (As if Trump cares about cover.)
