soaps: DOOL - Mon's & Tue's ep, and mostly as background noise. This was basically just Doug's memorial, which brought a lot of old characters back who were on way before I started watching the show. They also showed old clips that I would have liked to known the dates on - I thought they might be from the 1970s, but Marlena was in some of them, so I guess they must have been from the 1980s... I think Wed's ep might finally move beyond the Doug memorial stuff.
GH - Tue's ep. Molly is all passively-aggressively mad at Ric, even though everything Ric has said/done has been 100% true (and Kristina deserves every minute of it!), and even though Ric really had nothing to do with Molly and TJ breaking up. They seem to be ruining the character of NuMolly, which is a shame as she was actually the show's best character when she was righteously hating awful Kristina. Sonny sucks up to Natalia (why?!)... NuNuLulu is filled in on the last 4 years by Lucky, including Luke and Sam dying. Laura has Cyrus arrested from fraudulently claiming to be Laura's "proxy" at the recovery center; finally at the end Lucky tells Laura that Lulu is home. Maxie talks to Dante about Lulu. Danny admits to Jason (and Carly) that he is jealous that Rocco has gotten his mom back.
I then rewatched "The Ice Rink Murders" on LMN, which is over-the-top fun, I guess. It's also impressive because Maddison Bullock not only wrote this flick (too – she's written others), she obviously does (or did do) ice skating as she looks more than just "competent". Meanwhile, it's a cryin' shame that Natasha Calis has ruined her looks.  :(
  What did you watch?

This is a Two day catch up.
I watched:
Accused - "Marcus Story" Season 2, episode 3 of the anthology series. This one has Nick Cannon playing a tech guy on trial for manslaughter. The whole thing was a bit convoluted.
"Justin's Story" - Season 2, episode 4.  This one starred Michael Chiklis as a wrestling coach on trial for manslaughter.  At least in the previous episode the guy laid hands on someone.  In this episode they took a page out of Law & Order and put Chiklis on trial after an athlete dies from a drug overdoes, and someone has to get blamed for the death, so why not the coach.  And in another scene that is clearly straight out of Law & Order, some evidence comes to light that if wouldn't have outright cleared Chiklis would have at least put a *lot* of doubt on a conviction, but Chiklis can't bare to let his lawyer use it.
Afraid (Paramount+) New sci-fi horror movie starring John Cho as a family man who works at an PR company and brings home a new advanced A.I. assistant to test before it gets shipped to the public. The A.I. turns out to be evil and wackiness ensues.  At 84 minutes the movie goes by pretty fast, but as previously mentioned a lot was obviously cut from this movie!  Something happened off screen that causes Cho to have reservations about the A.I.  Off the top of my head I can't think of anything overtly evil the A.I. did until well after Cho was already freaking out about it, although the end the A.I. being evil wasn't in doubt.  My best guess is the A.I.'s origin was extraterrestrial and any explicit reference to this was removed from the movie.
