The entire series, comprising six half-hour episodes, was dropped
today and I've watched the first two episodes. It's good so far. You
might enjoy this is you like a true crime story or if you just want to
get a glimpse of Quebec.
Not a true crime story. IMO those are usually dull.

"As each episode of “The Sticky” declares, Prime Video‘s twisted comedy
series about a maple syrup heist in Canada, is definitely not accurately
depicting the Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist. But can you blame
creators Brian Donovan and Ed Herro for hearing an event title like that
and wanting to let their imaginations run wild?"
I am really looking forward to this. I've been a fan of Martindale since
Justified gave her a season as the villain.
I was just about to post some corrections.
You are correct, I saw the "absolutely NOT a true story" disclaimer but thought it was just being ironic; clearly, I was wrong about that.
Also, Jamie Lee Curtis actually appears in this (eventually), as opposed to only being one of several executive producers.
Also, I assumed this was a "limited series", i.e. a complete telling of the story but the story does NOT resolve at the end and it appears they are planning to go at least one more season or at least are open to the possibility.
