 I seem to be having trouble with Eternal September. When I hit SUBMIT POST, I
get an error "Message unable to be posted" with the options to Cancel and
Retry. I hit Retry and got the same thing, so I gave up. Apparently both
attempts eventually went through.

That has happened to me before, yes. But most times that happens, I hit 'Retry' and it still doesn't get through (IOW, ES is legitimately "down").
