I watched a very interesting Triggernometry podcast last night that talked about the Middle East, particularly Iran's role in the trouble. The guest was a lawyer turned activist who is herself Iranian, Elica Le Bon. She explained the history of the Iranian Revolution that toppled the Shah and installed the Ayatollah Khomeini and revealed something I'd never heard before: Jimmy Carter played an active role in deposing the Shah and enabling the Ayatollah to take over.

It's a pleasure to hear from Iranian dissidents for a change rather than from the regime's proxies who are behind all the protests on campuses and street corners.
