I wonder if Noah knew about the Crichton estate not getting paid or
even cares?

He isn't playing John Carter, the fictional representation of Michael
Crichton on ER. Don't you think he figured it out? But I agree with
BTR1701 that the estate can't claim copyright of a drama set in the ER
department of a hospital even if it does star a typecast Wyle.
