That's easy - just leave your package of insulin in the back of your
car when returning from the pharmacy overnight on a hot summer day.
(Or have the delivery truck serving the pharmacy do the same)

Been there done that in Vancouver. Never been in Phoenix though I
doubt it's radically different from Tucson which I have been to.

I was of course talking about climate. Is the weather dramatically
different between Tucson and Phoenix?

At least this month it looks like Phoenix is averaging a degree or two
warmer than Tucson. So not dramatically different which makes sense as
it is only about 100 miles between the two cities, but Phoenix is
around 1000 feet above sea level while Tucson is about 2000 feet above
sea level. That difference in height above sea level likely makes the
bigger difference in temps than where they sit geologically.
