The same liberals who demonized Trump for supposedly making insulin
too expensive now approve of a diabetis drug being diverted from them
for fat people.

Now lets be clear - a lot of type II diabetics ARE overweight (that's
one of the risk factors - and I've dropped 20 lbs in the 2 1/2 years
since my wife's death mostly due to skipping meals and eating lighter
- that and regularly walking the dog 1/2 hr to an hour a day) but the
way my specialist put it to me "your blood sugar is what Ozempic is
for and the fact that the key side effect of Ozempic is diet
suppression is a side effect I bet you'll appreciate" (that's more or
less a direct quote)
Nothing wrong with it being used to help diabetics but it's being
pushed at people who are simply plain old fat. This drives up the
cost which is wrong.
