This is what you call being empathetic and guiltless when you're raising cable prices

A note in my Jan. cable bill:
We and our nationwide video partners continue to try to keep prices down, even though broadcast/cable networks continue to push prices skyward. We share your frustration with these price increases that go directly to broadcast/cable networks. We will be implementing the following price changes for video packages and features beginning January 1, 2025:
Retransmission Fee: + $3.00
Expanded Package: + $5.00
Hispanic Package: + $1.00
Roku: + $3.00
HBO: + $1.00
HBO/Cinemax: + $1.00
HBO/Cinemax/Starz/Encore: + $1.00
HBO/Cinemax/Paramount+ with SHOWTIME/TMC/Flix: +$1.00
HBO/Cinemax/Paramount+ with SHOWTIME/TMC/Flix/Starz/Encore: +$1.00
