THE JETTY:  A 2024 miniseries on Hulu starring Jenna Coleman from DR. WHO.
This miniseries consists of 4 hour long episodes and plays out a murder mystery.
No nudity and very little swearing/violence, so this is suitable for the whole family.
The first episode starts off weak as the Jenna Coleman character seems like
nothing more than a fairly incompetent detective.  The episodes get better as
they go along.  Plus, you get a few witty lines of dialog such as:

     "It is not the cough that carries you off.
     It is the coffin that they carry you off in."

Thanks for the recommend. I’ll try to check that out although annoyingly Disney+
no longer works on the iPad. It requires the newest system update which the iPad\
can’t handle. But I can probably still look at it on the iPhone.

 Ob:
The built-in obsolescence of modern devices is really annoying.  I am sure
that
there is no valid reason why they can't continue to offer streaming to your
iPad
other than that they want to sell you a new device instead.  The same TV
sets
worked for the first 50 years of broadcasting.  Black & white TV sets even
worked
for color broadcasts, they just didn't show the colors.  Now, sets that are
just a few
years old are becoming unusable without add-on devices (like
Roku/Firestick) just
because the manufacturers stop updating software and try to force people to
buy
newer devices.
 

The other week I was trying to get the built in Netflix to work on my mother's TV then it turns out Netflix won't work even though it's built in because it's an older TV model.  And as far as iPads go, I have games I paid for that won't work on the newer models.  And my much older model stopped working a long time ago.  One of these days, I might see about getting the old one fixed so I can play those games again.
But in the case of the iPad, it's the software updates that will cause certain apps to no longer work.  Although that's nothing new for Windows users.  You never knew what game would suddenly no longer be compatible with the latest operating system update.  But it's way more annoying with iPad software updates since that's less of a choice.  At least with Windows you had to go out of your way to buy the update and it was usually well known in advance what would or wouldn't work after an update.
