Léon: The Professional (4K disc) 1994 action movie written and directed
by Luc Besson.  Jean Reno stars as Léon a "cleaner" or um, hitman.  A
young Natalie Portman also stars
Not looking to pick a fight, this is a serious question. Was she any good
as a child actress? I’ve only seen her as an adult and stuff like the
marvel movies and I think she’s one of the worst actresses I’ve ever seen.

She would have been about 12 years old when she filmed the movie.  It was her film debut. Overall, I think she was great in the role.  Her character witnesses her entire family murdered.  She then shacks up with a much older man, who she continuously tries to seduce, although he won't have anything to do with her in that way.  And she trains to be an assassin.  She also has to share screen time with seasoned professional actors like Gary Oldman and Danny Aiello and holds her own very well for a 12 year old.
This is a good scene of her being emotional:

Here are some samples of her goofing around in character:

And here she is with Oldman:

If you've never watched "Léon: The Professional," I highly recommend it.   It is a very solid mid 90s action flick with Gary Oldman chewing the scenery as the villain.

What If...? (Disney+) - "What If... the Emergence Destroyed the Earth?"
They are dropping a new one every day.  I watched this one the other
day.  It wasn't bad, but how exactly was there still an Earth seeing as
how the emergence destroyed it?  I guess we're not supposed to ask
obvious questions like that.
Thanks for the reminder. I’ll take a look at these now that I’ll be able to
hear them!

"What If... 1872?" - So they do a Shang-Chi episode set in the 1800s and
don't let him use the rings?!?  Then what was the point?
>
Back in my comic book days, the rings were found in a crashed dragon
spaceship (Fin FangFoom) by theMandarin. Were they even around or in play
in the 1800s?

Within the continuity of the movie, yes.  The ten rings crashed on Earth 1000 years ago, so they were definitely around in the 1800s.  There was also a dragon in the movie, but I don't want to spoil anything in case you haven't watched it yet.
