Some Star Trek episodes were banned in the UK until the 1980s

I just read an article which shared the surprising news that 4 different Star Trek: TOS episodes were banned in the UK until well into the 1980s. They were seen as likely to cause discomfort to sensitive viewers so, rather than show them with a warning, they simply didn't show them at all. [Actually, that's an oversimplification: 3 of the 4 were shown ONCE each but one caused an outcry and that made them rethink showing the first three ever again and kept them from showing the fourth even once.]
