I watched the newest episode of WILL TRENT where in Trent continues to
work on the murdered cop's case. It does turn out that they were
correct in thinking the killer was a cop. He had captured the little
girl which was why the one guy confessed to killing the cop, but Trent
is able to save the girl before she is killed.

I also watched HIGH POTENTIAL where they were clearly reducing the
amount of time spent on the love interest as they had him getting his
nursing credentials and moving to San Diego. He did say he was willing
to try a long distance relationship so he may not be permanently gone.
