The "Duck Dynasty" family is coming back to TV with A&E announcing a reboot
of the hugely successful 2010's reality series, with Willie Robertson, wife
Korie, and the rest of the extended family.

The series, titled "Duck Dynasty: The Revival," will this time center on the
Robertsons' plans for the family's business Duck Commander, the children, who
are now adults, and grandchildren of the family, according to The Hollywood
Reporter. The network has ordered two 10-episode seasons of the show, with
the first to drop this summer, the outlet noted.

"The Robertsons earned a seat in homes across the country with their unique
brand of downhome practicality, southern charm and relatable humor," Elaine
Frontain Bryant, Executive Vice President & Head of Programming, A&E and
Lifetime, said.

"'Duck Dynasty' played a huge part of the success of A&E for many years, and
we look forward to reuniting with the Robertsons on the revival," Bryant
added.

"Going back on A&E feels a little like going back home," Willie and Korie
shared in a statment. "We're thankful for all who have followed along as our
family has grown and expanded and can't wait to get cameras rolling again on
all our new adventures, or perhaps misadventures."

The new series comes nearly eight years after the Louisiana-based family's
reality TV series "Duck Dynasty" went off the air following 11 seasons on the
network, the Wrap noted. The Robertsons' reality series first debuted on A&E
in 2012 and ran until 2017. It followed the experiences of the family known
for their duck-hunting business, which they built from the ground up.

The revival series will see a return of some of the popular family members
like Uncle Si, Miss Kay, and a look into the adult lives of the kids Sadie,
Will, Bella, John Luke, and Rebecca, the Wrap noted.

One member of the family, previously part of the show, who is not listed as
being on camera for the new series is the patriarch of the family, Phil
Robertson. Phil ended up being put on a brief hiatus during the series
following calls to have him taken off the air over an interview he gave to GQ
Magazine for its December 2013 issue in which he labeled homosexuality
sinful, reported the outlet.

The reality star said he had "just quoted a Bible verse," reported Fox News
at the time.

Robertson previously spoke to Daily Wire's "Morning Wire" podcast to discuss
that incident and his book -- "Uncanceled: Finding Meaning and Peace in a
Culture of Accusations, Shame, and Condemnation."
