It’s clearly a movie I would never watch, but I was intrigued by your
comments so I read the plot summary on Wikipedia. And I have to say my
reaction to the plot summary is almost exactly what you wrote. There was no
payoff and horrible events were supposed to be amusing simply because they
were too awful to contemplate. Reading about this movie was somewhat
interesting, but the thought of seeing it is…too awful to contemplate.
