Exactly!  Recognizable guest star.  The episode was humming along then Mekhi Phifer popped up on screen and I didn't have to wonder if the cops would need to keep searching for the killer or not.  LOL.  I don't recall for the other two you mentioned, but when Phifer showed up the killer's identity was still up in the air.

Law and Order: SVU - "Master Key" - Team SVU spring into action to rescue a missing teen who was last seen getting into a car with a strange man.  Team SVU quickly find the man dead and the teen with an ever changing story about what really happened.

 Did Ricky Garcia play the teen? I wasn't sure he was still in the business, esp. with what happened to him...
 

I never heard of Ricky Garcia before but according to imdb Ricky Garcia was the missing teen.
