Nope. It'll be more barely recognisable "reboot" garbage. If you're
going to make something from existing material, why butcher it into
unrecognisable rubbish full of your own silly ideas of what it "should
have been"?? You may as well simply make a new TV show about a early
American family and call it something else. Re-using the same name
makes zero sense from evey angle.  :-\
 
Plus the now "necessary" Political Correctness nonsense will infest it.
No doubt Laura will now black and have one leg missing, while her elder
sister will "identify themselves" as a boy.
