What did you watch?
Monday's are going to be my longest workdays (by far) this semester. So yesterday, all I got through was DOOL and a Lifetime flick I had missed:
DOOL - I'm caught up on this one... FauxRafe stops the wedding and says he can't marry Jada. When Jada (and others) demand an explanation, FauxRafe claims that EJ actually hired him to investigate Jada (as if that story makes a lick of sense!) and that "Rafe's" contact in the police department found that Jada was cutting legal/ethical corners and was "dirty". Ridiculously, Mayor Paulina buys into this, esp. after Shawn shows up with the "evidence", and they haul Jada off for questioning. After getting chewed out by NuGabi and Javi, FauxRafe flees the scene! Stephanie is irate about what happened, but Patch (smartly!) is the only one who smells a rat: EJ!... Meanwhile, Belle (dummy!!) and EJ "do it" again!!
The Sunday before last, I just plum missed a Lifetime flick - didn't record it; forgot it was even on! So that meant:
Match, Meet, Murder (OnDemand) - This flick I had to pull off OnDemand (which meant it had the usual commercial load, and 2-hour runtime) because I forgot to record it.
This flick was just OK, if that.
Lingerie(! 'cos, of course!) fashion designer (Stephanie Sy) uses a dating app and is matched with a "millionaire" (Jacob Blair, who usually plays baddies in Lifetime flicks). Her friend quickly shows her that the dude was previously on a reality show (something like "Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire"!) - the friend then reports that the winning woman/ fiancee "disappeared" (we see her get murdered in the film's opening), and this doesn't set off any alarm bells about the "millionaire" dude!!??!!
We also meet the reality show's producer/host (Lisa Marie DiGiacinto), a smarmy piece of work.
The film pretty quickly reveals that the dude is at least some kind of con man.
He was a fake millionaire on the millionaire show?
Which pretty much means he also has to be a murderer.
This flick pretty much goes exactly where you expect it to.
The only thing I really kind of liked here was the film's implication that the real villain of the piece was the reality show! producer! (Reality show's producer = worse than murderer! Ha!)
But as Lifetime flicks go, this one definitely belongs in the bottom half.
  What did you watch?
I watched:
Babylon 5 (blu-ray) - "The Hour of the Wolf" Season 4 premier.  Picking up where season 3 ended, Sheridan went to Z'ha'dum and got himself killed.  So why is he still in the opening credits?
"Whatever Happened to Mr. Garibaldi?" G'Kar goes looking for the missing Mr. Garibaldi and finds a world of hurt instead.  Meanwhile back on Z'ha"dum Sheridan is asked a very important question, "Did you know you have a Vorlon inside of you?"
"The Summoning" - G'Kar continues to be mercilessly tortured by the psychotic Centauri emperor, while Londo and Vir plot the emperor's assassination.  In other news, the reports of Sheriden's death were greatly exaggerated.  Technically, he did die.  But he's better now. And he has a new alien friend that a recently found Garibaldi doesn't trust.  I don't know why Garibaldi doesn't trust the mysterious new alien.  It's not as if he's Jack the Ripper or anything.  I should also mention the Vorlons have decided to start blowing up planets.  So now not only does B5 have to stop the Shadows, they also have to stop the Vorlons too.
"Falling Toward Apotheosis" - The Vorlons continue to blow up planets touched by the Shadows while Garibaldi's paranoia continues to grow. Meanwhile the Centauri emperor is making plans to ascend to godhood by letting the Vorlons destroy Centauri Prime.  Did I mention yet, he's insane?  Londo better hurry up with that assassination plan!  Especially since the emperor doesn't like the way G'Kar is looking at him.  Poor G'Kar.  :-(
"The Long Night" - Londo's move against the emperor succeeds leading to Narn being freed.  In the ultimate slap in the face once Narn is free of the Narns suggests G'Kar was living a cushy life on B5 and hadn't suffered the way they had.  Hey, Bryan Cranston is a ranger!
"Into the Fire" - "What are you going to do?  Blow up the entire island?"  "Actually, yes."  Leading to Vir getting to wave goodbye. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ribk3MTR3PA  But the most important line in this episode has to be, "Now get the hell out of our galaxy!"
And that's a good spot to stop.  But I must have missed an episode. What happened to the episode where Londo and G'Kar were trapped in an elevator?  I wanted to see that one.  :-/  Or not so much the episode, I just remember the scene and was expecting to see it again at some point.
