Re: Police shooting videos leaves questions unanswered

This Subject is the same name as an old thread on the Dexter Reed
shooting, not available on eternal-september but you could read it on
other News sites.

Taxpayers have settled with the estate of Dexter Reed to the tune of
$1.25 million for a police shooting during a traffic stop. The traffic
stop, performed by tactical police officers, was probably specious and
Reed's civil rights for having his person seized were probably violated,
but Mr. Reed is dead because he fired first, shooting a cop (not life
threatening).

The greedy relatives and P.I. attorney win again.
