9-1-1 Spinoff Set in Nashville Gets ABC Series Order for 2025-26
Season (Feb. 20)
Didn't they just cancel a 9-1-1 spinoff? The one with Rob Lowe in Austin? Why
not keep that one instead of starting a whole new show? These shows are just
firefighters and cops responding to calls, right? Who cares what city they're
in.

Quick answer: Production costs. I think "9-1-1: Texas" (or whatever the
Hell it was called!) had finished season #5 - shows that get to five
seasons and beyond get more and more expensive as they go. (This is what
eventually got "Blue Bloods".) It's literally cheaper for the network to
start over with a new show.

Jennifer Carpenter on DEXTER: RESURRECTION & Whether She Will Reprise
Role: "Pretty Focused Where I Am" [Showtime] (Feb. 22)
"Where she is" isn't on anything I've seen for the last 10 years, so unless
she's got other things going on besides acting, maybe she should consider
reprising her most famous role.

I really liked her on the short-lived "Limitless" TV series. I'm kind of
surprised she kind of disappeared after that.
I wouldn't say she disappeared. Just had some poor luck with her
choices. I enjoyed her performances in THE ENEMY WITHIN but that only
lasted a season. It seems the norm in that I may enjoy the performance
of many an actor in one series and then they disappear from my view
even though they keep having an active acting life. They just end up
in shows/movies that I have no interest in.
Sharon Stone Poised to Join HBO's EUPHORIA for Season 3 (Feb. 15)
Please don't let her do any BASIC INSTINCT moves on this show. No one wants to
see that.

Does anyone want to see her at all?!
