A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers embark on an epic quest to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people. 2023 film also available on Paramount+; 2h 14m.
And was also available on Prime too at some point I want to say.
September 5 (movie) (Paramount+, Feb. 25)
'September 5' examines a decisive moment that forever changed media coverage and continues to impact live news today. Set during the 1972 Munich Summer Olympics, the film follows the ABC Sports broadcasting team who quickly shifted from sports reporting to live coverage of the Israeli athletes taken hostage. Released commercially in January; 1h 35m.
I've been tempted to watch this for the last few days, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.
Venom: The Last Dance (movie) (Netflix, Feb. 25)
Still on the run, journalist Eddie Brock and his alien companion Venom dodge threats from a vigilant military leader and ruthless invading symbiotes. Stars Tom Hardy, Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rhys Ifans, Stephen Graham, and Peggy Lu. 2024 film; 1hr 49m. Sony Pictures film that is not available on the ad tier. Conclusion of trilogy also consisting of Venom (2018) and Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021).
Meanwhile, I think I noticed that the second "Venom" flick has finally shown up on Hulu/Disney+, so one of these days I can watch that now.
Watcher (movie) (Netflix, Feb. 25)

When her college-aged daughter goes missing while on Spring Break down in Miami, Indiana mom Beverly flies out to find her, acquiring the assistance of rugged boatman Ray as they search the vast Everglades. Tori Spelling, Tommi Rose, and Nick Ballard star.
Gah! - I dislike Spelling a lot, but kind of like Tommi Rose. I'll probably record this for later, though I'm starting to get a bit of a backlog of unwatched recorded Lifetime flicks.

Daredevil: Born Again [new] (9 pm, Disney+)
It may be another Disney+ MCU series, but it's also a continuation of Netflix's Daredevil set five years later, with Charlie Cox back as the blind lawyer turned vigilante Matt Murdock/Daredevil. Other familiar faces from that previous show as well as other MCU properties include Vincent D'Onofrio (again playing Wilson Fisk/Kingpin), Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle/Punisher), and Ayelet Zurer (Vanessa Marianna-Fisk), while newcomers include Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, and Clark Johnson (with the latter also directing several episodes). Nine episodes, the first two of which stream today; the series has already been renewed for a second season (also 9 episodes). Disney opted to overhaul the series under new writers and a new showrunner (Dario Scardapane, who wrote for the Netflix Daredevil series) after the first six episodes were filmed.
I never watched the original Netflix show. I will wait for Arthur's reviews.

I was Octomom: The Natalie Suleman Story (movie) (8 pm, Lifetime Channel)
"I Was Octomom" stars Kristen Lee Gutoskie (The Handmaid’s Tale, Chicago Fire) as Natalie Suleman; Caitlin Stryker (A Million Little Things) as her best friend Beth; and Anita Wittenberg (Cruel Instruction) as her mother Angela. Told from her perspective, the movie follows Suleman’s journey starting from her decision to have one more IVF procedure to complete her then family of six, to becoming a mother of 14, having survived her life being torn apart by the tabloid media.
Very likely to pass on this. I've seen this kind of thing from Lifetime before - it's appalling that they've let Suleman be involved in producing this: if they want to tell the true story, then do that! Don't serve as propaganda for Suleman!
P.S. Gutoskie used to be so pretty, but she's not looking so hot in this.
The Reluctant Royal (movie) (8 pm, Hallmark Channel)
Philly mechanic Johnny is surprised to learn that his long-lost father is a duke. But the duke isn’t quite what he expected, nor are his growing feelings for the duke’s advisor Prudence. Starring Andrew Walker and Emilie de Ravin.
OK, Emilie de Ravin is one of the few people that might be able to get me to watch a Hallmark romcom. But they should have had her playing a princess!! ;)
P.S. I notice the GAFfe Channel hasn't put out a new movie in ages - I guess they're like UPtv (and Ion? - does Ion even do their own movies anymore?!) now, only putting out new movies during Christmas season.
(end)
"Heretic", an LMN flick... and not much else. :(
