California does this on the state level, too, and it's absolutely infuriating.
Billions are spent on giving illegals free cradle-to-grave health care,
college scholarships, business loans, downpayments for homes, free hotel
rooms, free food, car downpayments. The list goes on and on and on. A laundry
list of freebies and perks that American citizens don't get, yet are forced to
pay to provide to foreign nationals who are breaking the law by the very
presence.

We stupid American citizens still have to pay for our own cars and health
care. We have to come up with the money to put downpayments on homes and cars.
*And* we have to pay so that illegals can get all that for free.

I wonder what would happen if I showed up at a hospital for treatment of a
broken arm or the flu or whatever and when they asked for my insurance, I
said, "I don't have any. I'm an illegal alien so I get health care for free."
I mean, it's not like the hospital can require I document my illegal status.
By definition, illegals are undocumented. California doesn't issue you an
"illegal alien ID card" when you crawl across the border in the dead of night
so that you can take advantage of all the freebies on offer. So the hospital
would basically have to take my word for the fact that I'm an illegal. They
wouldn't dare say anything like, "Well, you don't look like a Mexican" because
that would be racist in a half-dozen different ways and even if they did, I
could just say, "I'm a Canadian illegal." I could even bring a bottle of maple
syrup with me and take a swig to prove my bona fides.

Much like how it's illegal to impersonate a cop, I predict that within five
years it will actually be a crime in California to impersonate an illegal
alien or a vagrant for purposes of obtaining all the freebies and benefits
they get which are denied to American citizens.

“Forty-five million dollars for diversity, equity, and inclusion scholarships
in Burma."

That's even better than paying for DEI programs in Croatia. Burma is a
totalitarian regime that I suspect couldn't care less about things like DEI,
yet we're spending $45 million tilting at windmills there.

Besides, unlike America, Burma is almost 100% populated by Burmese people.
Croatia is overwhelmingly Croatian. Which means other than male/female/troon
issues, there's not even any need for DEI in the first place. So what are we
spending the money on?

Some of this shit is so over the top, I suspect USAID is really just a front
for the CIA in a lot of these countries. They say they're spending money on
DEI when it's really a cover for funding black-ops intelligence programs.

I can't wait to see moviePig's justification for that one.

a program. Twenty million dollars for a program."

And no one has yet been able to explain why, if it's so important that Iraq
have a SESAME STREET program on TV, we can't just overdub in Arabic the
decades of past episodes we have here in America and play those for them. Most
of the characters on the show are puppets so you wouldn't even have any
lip-synching issues.

Again, this seems so ridiculous it smells like it's really a way of hiding
expenditures for covert military and intelligence operations in Iraq.

"One-point-nine billion to the recently-created Decarbonization of Homes
Committee headed up-- and we know she’s involved just at the last moment the
money was passed over-- by a woman named Stacey Abrams."

Two billion-- with a B!-- dollars for "decarbonizing homes"?!?!

Jeezus wept...

The president went on to list things like $47 million for better “learning
outcomes in Asia” and $14 million for “social cohesion in Mali.”
 
When pointing out the tens of millions spent to improve learning outcomes in
Asia, Trump said he disapproved, remarking that “Asia is doing really well
with learning.” He added that the United States could learn from programs in
Asia.

Yeah, no kidding. There's absolutely no reason we should be spending our money
on educating their kids. They already run circles around our own kids in all
relevant metrics.
