Star Trek franchise seems to be jumping on the bandwagon with
"Star Trek: Picard", "Star Trek: Khan" (audio drama), and a
few rumoured shows.

 I hope Hollywood doesn't get its hands completely on "Doctor
Who" so...

There are rumours of a more spin-off shows. Among others are one based around UNIT (i.e. Lethbridge-Stewart) and another based around the Daleks (so could include Davros).
Of course, there were rumours a few years ago about a spin-off show based on teh Doctor's clone daughter. It never happened as a TV series, but has happened as a Big Finish audio drama.
