 Yeah, notice you never see any babies named Gladys, either.
 
Names have followed trends (of a sort) for many decades now. Prudence and Gladys *were* popular names many decades ago but were long ago superseded by others. I still remember when nearly every female being born was named Tiffany, Crystal or (I've forgotten the third of the Big Three) back in the late 80s/early 90s. I put that 80s trend down to people naming their girls after popular TV characters of the time. Older naming trends are probably more down to people being named after popular book characters, back in the days when a lot more people read and TV wasn't yet in existence.
