I watched 'Skyfall'.  Judi Dench was the Bond Girl (Seriously!  The director said so!!) and Moneypenny shoots Bond.

Sorry if this is a duplicate.  On my end it's not appearing so I'm resending.
I am so looking forward to when I start my Bond watch.  🙂
This is a multi-day catch up.  Over the last few days I watched:
Better Man (Paramount+) 2024 musical bio-pic about British pop star Robbie Williams.  But this is a biopic with a twist, for no reason that's ever explained or even commented on, Robbie is portrayed by a CGI chimpanzee.  He just is.  And someone had the bright idea to release *this* movie the same year as "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes." Anyway, Better Man bombed at the box office.  But the movie itself is OK.  Not great or anything, but it held my interest well enough.  I really didn't know anything about Robbie Williams other than he had one song I liked, and that song wasn't even in the movie.  The song itself is pays homage to James Bond, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcWOviMI6Lk
Daredevil: Born Again (Disney+) - "The Hollow of His Hand" - Matt Murdock wraps up a murder trial.  I hope they get to the action soon.
Cobra Kai (Netflix)  - "Peacetime in the Valley" and "The Prize" - Season 6, episodes 1 and 2. The season 5 finale aired in 2022, so of course season 6 picks up without even a recap.  It's not like people are going to forget what last happened in a show they haven't watched in 3 years or anything.  Season 6 resumes with Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen (the villain of Karate Kid 2) all working together now.  Terry Silver (the villain of Karate Kid 3) was defeated at the end of season 5 and is now gone.  John Kreese faked his death to escape prison at the end of season 5, and now he is out on the street to cause trouble.  In episode 2 there was a really good flashback of young Kreese in Korea learning Karate from an evil sensei, and when the flash forward it turns out the evil sensei is now ancient but still alive, and just as evil.  He of course teams up with Kreese and they are of course still out for revenge.
Watson - "The Man With The Glowing Chest" - They ran out of "House" scripts and had to tell an original story.  This one has Watson teaming up with The Man With the Glowing Chest to save the day.
The Equalizer - "Guns and Roses" - Season 5, Episode 8, from a few weeks ago.  This one has Team McCall chasing after a gun runner (I think) after a girl gets shot.  I'm not sure I caught the connection between girl getting shot by a stray bullet to international criminal.
Black Bag (theatrical) New spy movie written by David Koepp, and directed by Steven Soderbergh.  Michael Fassbender stars as a man who works for a British spy agency who at the start of the movie is tasked with figuring out who among 5 people, who also work at the agency, is a traitor.  One of the 5 people is his wife (Cate Blanchett).  His wife being one of the suspects does not deter him from taking the assignment.   Based on the trailer I had almost no interest in this movie, but I went to see it anyway because it was directed by Steven Soderbergh. Turns out that was the correct decision.  This movie is a lot better than the trailer.  And better than my description.  I left out a lot of details to avoid spoilers.  But this is one of those spy movies full of smart characters that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
