Weathered: Inside the LA Firestorm (documentary) (10-11 pm, PBS)

Did you know this was climate change and not bad zoning and building and
fire codes, lack of environmental and forest management, and failure to
prevent and prosecute arson?

And gross mismanagement of resources, leaving the fire department only funded
at 50% of what is necessary, and top officials leaving for African junkets and
cocktail parties in the middle of a weather emergency, and deciding to send
1000 firefighters home instead of holding them over to work a double shift,
and 100+ fire engines sitting idle in the maintenance yard because the city
would rather put the money toward illegal aliens than hiring mechanics to fix
them, and leaving a 117-million gallon reservoir empty for a year instead of
making a simple repairs because DEI policies require such jobs to be farmed
out to minority businesses through a complex and lengthy bidding process...
and on and on and on.

But sure, let's just blame it 'climate change' and restrict our freedoms and
jack up the cost of living another few percentage points.

The Residence           [new; complete season 1]       (3:01 am, Netflix)

A brilliant, eccentric detective [Uzo Aduba] must solve a murder in the
White House residence--where the staff and guests at a state dinner are
all suspects.

I thought Wesley Snipes took care of this problem decades ago.

I also thought guests of state dinners are kept entirely out of the
residence portion of the White House.

*Everyone* is kept entirely out of the residence.

an adaptation of Kate Andersen Brower's novel of the same
name, the series also stars Randall Park, Giancarlo Esposito (taking
over a role originally played by Andre Braugher, who died midway through
production; Esposito also once replaced Braugher in the cast of
Homicide: Life on the Street),

A script so bad it killed Braugher!

I bet Andre used to get a chill up his back every time Giancarlo appeared.

Revelations       (movie)           (3:01 am, Netflix)

A pastor is convinced that a divine revelation has called him to punish
the person guilty of a missing person case, while a detective assigned
to the case is haunted by her dead sister's shadow. Korean film; 2h 2m.

The detective is haunted HAUNTED by painful memories, self doubt, and
guilt?

Better than being haunted by Vietnam!
