This is a multi-day catch up.  Over the past week I watched:
Cobra Kai (Netflix) "Underdogs" - Season 6, episode 4 – The new combined Cobra Kai Miyagi-Do dojo have to select 6 students to compete in the big tournament and to make the selection process fair Daniel and Johnny aree to bring in Mike Barnes (Sean Kanan), the hired goon from Karate Kid to select the top six.  I love how this show keeps bringing back the characters from the movie.  Johnny and Mike don’t get along, leading to the two of them having a gratuitous fight.  Of course, this is Cobra Kai, and every episode has at least two gratuitous fights.  Not that I’m complaining.
Daredevil: Born Again (Disney+) - "Sic Semper Systema" - Unless I'm mistaken, 4 episode in, and still no Daredevil.  But it looks like he might finally show up next episode.  At least they are doubling down on the show being in the MCU.  "Could it have been a skrull?"  I was not expecting to hear that line!
Severance (AppleTV+) - "Cold Harbor" - The Sense shattering season 2 finale.  I'm not even going to try and recap this episode!  Stuff happened!  And almost as if there was a gun to the writer's heads, they actually gave some answers.  Is the show even the slightest bit clearer as a result of those answers?  NO!!
Law & Order - "Folk Hero" - Season 24, episode 16 - In a story idea that was completely originally and definitely not ripped from any headlines, the police chase after a man who shot an insurance executive only to find that the general public support what he did.  This becomes a problem when the judge (Benito Martinez) and jury also appear sympathetic to man.  The judge did everything except out right say the insurance exec had it coming.  LOL
Law & Order: SVU - "Let Me Bring Pardon" - Season 26, episode 16.  This was a sequel to a previous episode where a woman was left in a coma.  In this one she turns up pregnant and SVU is determined to step over any and everyone including the woman's family, to find out who did it.  Why exactly couldn't they have just waited until after the baby was born to take a DNA test then?
Penn & Teller: Fool Us - "House of Cards" - This was a particularly good episode with every trick being a card trick.  The second magician, Nicholas Ribs, did some of the best close up magic I've ever seen.
Reacher (Amazon) - "ATM" - Season 2, episode 1.  I know better than to start watching a new streaming show when I have others I haven't finished yet, but I keep seeing "Reacher" this and "Reacher" that, so I broke down and started season 2.  First up, Reacher is brought in by an old friend and they discover their team is being hunted.  So far the show is off to a good start.  At least now when I finish season 2, I won't have to wait a year to watch season 3.
Snow White (theatrical) - New live action version of Disney's 1937 animated classic.  Rachel Zegler stars as Snow White, a young princess who is raised under the thumb of her evil stepmother, "Gal Gadot."  When Zegler's beauty overshadows the Evil Queen, the Queen orders her huntsman to take Snow White into the forest and rip out her heart.  The huntsman has a change of heart and with the help of some CGI friends, Snow White returns to reclaim her kingdom and save the day.  This felt closer to the 2012 Kristen Stewart version than the 1937 animated version.  The only thing missing was Gal Gadot never turned into a T-1000 Terminator, although she did come very close at one point in the movie.  Going in I saw some complaints about Gal Gadot's performance, but I didn't notice anything particularly bad about it.  She was just speaking in her natural Israeli accent, which I think, is the same accent she used for Wonder Woman, so I really don't see the problem. Otherwise, the movie was just OK.  Then again, I've never been a particular fan of Disney's Snow White anyway.  As far as the classic Disney animated films go, I prefer "Pinocchio."
