 Another show that, if I had time, I'd probably watch, but I'm sure I
 will never find the time.

 extended director's cut of the 1989 underwater science fiction epic,

I saw the original in the theater 36 (!) years ago and saw the special
edition years ago as well. The 4K is really not gonna do me any good but
since Disney+ is free still I’ll add it to my watchlist.
 
By the way, whoever wrote the article is a complete moron. This footage
wasn’t removed from the original. It wasn’t ever created in the first
place. Much of it is giant CGI waves attacking the beaches.
 
Now what I really want is the extended version of THE DEEP, which runs
something like an hour longer. But I’ve only ever seen it panned and
scanned on TV.
