but yes, when I was a kid the school had a dress code
for the kids. There's no reason the teachers shouldn't have to abide by one as
well.

Well, I had to go back and check to see what outrageous garb she's sporting ...and I conclude you must be talking about her hair and ring? If so, I can safely say our concerns there are miles apart.  (Fwiw, *I* personally deplore both aesthetically, but so what?)
